Asus released its two phones in October, the Zenfone Max M1(Review) and the Zenfone Lite L1. These two phones from Asus can be considered as competitors to the Redmi 6 and 6A due to the price point in the budget segment.
In this article, I am going to tell you what you need to know if you are thinking about buying the Zenfone Lite L1.
The device is built out of plastic and feels sturdy to hold in hand. It has rounded corners and is light in weight. The build quality of the device is good. It features a 5.5-inch 1440x720p resolution 18:9 ratio display with rounded corners. The display is bright and displays vibrant colours.
The Zenfone Lite L1 uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 Processor which is a pretty ageing processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM it is able to give a decent performance. I noticed the device lag even when switching between apps and doing basic things. The new Zen UI is clean but needs few optimizations for low ram variants.
The device features a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The rear camera takes nice shorts in broad daylight but struggles in low lighting conditions. The front camera takes decent selfies and the also has front flash which works really well when it comes to taking selfies in low light.
The camera interface is easy to use and looks good, unlike the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.
The speakers on the device are pretty low sounding so its something that one should consider if you use your phone speakers extensively.
The device has a 3000 mAh battery which easily lasts throughout the day.
This smartphone comes equipped with two SIM slots that support 4G VoLTE. It also has a dedicated slot for a microSD card.
Asus ZenFone Lite L1 ( 2 GB RAM,16 GB ROM) is priced at ₹5,999 on Flipkart.
